Text 11 Mar Note to Self:

Do NOT wear Convers to work again.

Bad idea. My feet are killing me right about now! I’ll remember this for sure.

Anywho, I’m going to be honest. Work wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be today. It was actually pretty darn good. I got greeted with a very warm welcome! Everyone was shouting my name (In a good way of course). It kind of made me feel like a celebrity. Haha.

My day started quite well, I woke up to the welcoming tepid fresh scent of spring, a kind reminder of a brand new era to come yet this reminder also brought memories of my past years. Thoughts instantaneously filled my mind with previous events around this time of the year, where trees begin to breathe with life again and God begins to paint his masterpiece across nature. I remembered feverishly racing through the nature trails at Highbanks Park last year towards a never-ending finish line. I remembered clumsily skateboarding through my old hometown of Northlake as a teen. I remembered waking up during my spring break and impulsively swing my life away in my backyard as a child. All these memories briefly clouded my vision for a split second before I was courteously pulled back into the present. Now as an almost twenty-one year old young adult, heading off to work, I’m beginning to make plans for what memories I will make this year with those I love and cherish. These plans, which will go unspoken of temporarily for means of keeping it a secret and a surprise, elegantly place themselves on top of my mind throughout my entire day.

As for now, the present, I am about to go look for what I’m going to wear for the Celtic Ball this weekend! Wish me luck!

Side Notes:

  • I actually have a bit of a headache today =[
  • At work a couple of co-workers were coaching me about WoW. It’s lame I know!
  • I wrote two blogs today! Woo-Hoo! I’m on a roll. I think I might keep it to a minimum of one though. You don’t need a morning and afternoon update.
